This is the part where you get to know someone within a page. For starters my name is Greg Powell, commonly known as ‘Greg’ on many of the forums you read. I have been involved in affiliate marketing from all sides of the business since 2004; starting out as an affiliate and then transitioning to the operator/merchant side. During the last five years I have done just about everything from building sites, business development, setting up new affiliate programs and launching new brands. I’ve been fortunate to be a part of some very innovative
things on online gaming and still am learning new things every day. This is the driving force for setting up Poker Affiliate University – to become better, more success affiliate marketers!
In addition to the site we have an official PAU
Twitter set up for tips, advice and industry news.
Now in those rare moments when I am not in front of a computer there are a few things I really enjoy doing. For starters I am 28 and married to an awesome girl, Tandra. We’ve lived across the States but now reside right back in the middle. You’ll commonly hear about the wild antics and unique ‘culture’ of
our region on our radio program, Affiliate Life Radio. I am a major fan of the Boston Celtics and follow them religiously. I play golf, like to travel, play drums and a bunch of other cliché things people in their late twenties enjoy. I’m an Oklahoma State Alumni (Bachelors’ in Marketing) and watch their football team as well.
Although most of my professional experience in working with affiliates has been in poker, many people would consider me an expert in Online Bingo. For a few years leading up to UIGEA I actually operated an online bingo skin and gave myself a crash course in bingo. Where as in poker I have worked with some of the brightest marketers out there, in bingo I am a sort of self taught, self appointed ‘guru’ on the subject. In some ways this is great because I had to find out what worked well without having the luxury of someone showing me. I am always interested in what is happening in our industry and strive to stay up on the changes and evolutions every
time they occur.
Please feel free to drop me a line anytime or add me as a friend on Facebook. Like Jeremy I am pretty easy to reach on the forums and via Skype (gregdpowell).
